I am a doctoral-trained, board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and am licensed as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) in Washington State. In my practice I enjoy working collaboratively with my patients to ensure that their specific health concerns are the focus of their care. My goal is to provide a therapeutic environment that allows you to express your healthcare needs, and discuss the best way I can help you to meet your ideal mental health state. To do this I incorporate my training in medication management, nursing, education, and therapy to assist in a holistic care process. The focus of my practice is psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, medication management, and referral services. I do some psychotherapy with problem-solving, CBT, and DBT techniques, but this aspect is generally only lightly touched on. My role and specialty are diagnosis and medication management. Mental health is essential to a person’s well-being.
